The World Forum on Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability (WFCCES) is a premier global platform dedicated to addressing the urgent challenges posed by climate change and environmental degradation. This international forum brings together researchers, academicians, policymakers, industry leaders, environmental activists, and organizations from across the world to exchange knowledge, share innovative solutions, and collaborate on sustainable strategies. The event is scheduled to take place on May 22–23, 2025, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at the Holiday Inn Express Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Participants can join the event either physically or virtually, making it accessible to a global audience.
WFCCES is co-hosted by Lincoln University College, which lends strong academic leadership to the conference. A notable aspect of this event is its emphasis on sustainability, as it will be hosted in an eco-friendly venue designed with green architecture and powered by renewable energy. The forum aligns with global efforts to combat climate change by promoting innovative solutions, policy frameworks, and community-based actions.
The key objectives of WFCCES include fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, encouraging the exchange of research and best practices, shaping evidence-based environmental policies, and promoting technological innovation in fields such as renewable energy, green infrastructure, climate adaptation, and biodiversity conservation. The forum also focuses on inclusivity by ensuring that the perspectives of vulnerable and marginalized communities are represented in sustainability dialogues.
WFCCES aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), and SDG 15 (Life on Land). The event aims to host more than 50 expert speakers, attract over 1,000 attendees, and feature representation from more than 20 countries. Accepted research papers and presentations will have the opportunity to be published in Scopus-indexed journals and conference proceedings, offering academic recognition and global visibility to contributors.
In addition to thought-provoking sessions, the forum will feature awards to honor exceptional contributions in the field of climate change and sustainability. It also provides sponsorship and exhibition opportunities for organizations that are committed to advancing environmental solutions, allowing them to showcase their work to a global audience.
WFCCES offers extensive networking opportunities through both onsite and online platforms, enabling participants to build meaningful partnerships and launch collaborative initiatives. The event also provides logistical support, including visa facilitation for participants from several Southeast Asian countries. With its strong academic foundation, international participation, and commitment to sustainable practices, WFCCES stands out as a leading global forum for driving impactful climate action and environmental stewardship.
