What let me down:
When emails have complicated CSS formatting or non-standard font stacking, the PDF output is not pixel-perfect. About four out of every 100 emails had obvious layout changes, but the majority looked good. For the majority of use cases, it is acceptable, but not for those who require accurate visual reproduction.
As soon as the converting process is complete, the progress log vanishes. It cannot be saved, exported or reviewed later. A downloaded summary would have prevented me from manually spot-checking the output for a 6,200-email task with a deadline.
