How Does a Motorized Double Flange Butterfly Valve Work?
A butterfly valve controls the flow of fluid using a circular disc mounted at the center of the valve body. An electric actuator rotates the disc by 90° (quarter-turn).
- 0° Position – The valve is fully closed, stopping the flow.
- 10° to 80° Position – The disc can be positioned anywhere to regulate the flow.
- 90° Position – The valve is fully open, allowing maximum flow.
This simple operation provides fast response, smooth movement, and accurate flow control while reducing manual effort.
