CMR Group is India’s largest producer of aluminium and zinc die-casting alloys, with a combined annual production capacity of approximately 310,700 metric tonnes. Since its inception, the Group has achieved consistent and rapid growth by adopting advanced technologies, maintaining high-quality standards, and focusing on continuous improvement across its manufacturing operations.
The Group commenced its business operations in 2006 by establishing its first manufacturing plant in Tatarpur, near New Delhi. The facility was equipped with sophisticated and modern recycling technologies designed to improve operational efficiency, product quality, environmental performance, and resource recovery. These technologies include regenerative burners, baghouses, pump furnaces, de-coaters, rotary sieves, heavy-media separation systems, induction-based sorting systems, colour-sorting systems, eddy-current separators, gravimetric separation equipment, shredders, specially designed ladles, and automatic charging systems. The integration of these technologies has helped CMR Group build a strong and efficient metal-recycling ecosystem.
Today, CMR Group operates through twelve manufacturing plants, including four facilities established under two joint ventures with renowned Japanese companies Toyota Tsusho Corporation and Nikkei MC Aluminium. These strategic partnerships combine global technical expertise with CMR Group’s strong understanding of the Indian recycling and manufacturing industries.
Of the Group’s twelve manufacturing facilities, ten are engaged in aluminium recycling operations. These plants primarily serve the automotive manufacturing sector in India and international markets by producing high-quality aluminium alloys from recycled metal. Through its recycling operations, CMR Group supports the circular economy by transforming secondary metal raw materials into valuable products that can be reused in industrial and automotive applications.
CMR Group has also established a manufacturing facility under a 50:50 joint venture to undertake the collection, segregation, processing, recycling, and treatment of various types of secondary metal raw materials. This initiative further strengthens the Group’s ability to deliver responsible, technology-driven, and sustainable metal-recycling solutions.
With a strong manufacturing network, experienced professionals, advanced infrastructure, and international collaborations, CMR Group continues to contribute to the development of India’s metal-recycling industry. Its commitment to innovation, safety, quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction has positioned the Group as a trusted partner for leading automotive and industrial manufacturers. By continuously upgrading its technologies and expanding its recycling capabilities, CMR Group remains focused on conserving natural resources, reducing waste, improving material efficiency, and supporting a cleaner and more sustainable future.
