Dr. Daniel J. Winn
Dr. Daniel J. Winn has been in private practice dentistry since 2008. He moved to Chippewa Falls in July of 2012 to purchase Dr. John Look’s practice. Dr. Winn previously worked in Elroy, WI, and during that time, helped start a satellite clinic in Necedah, WI.
Dr. Winn is originally from Monticello, WI. He received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree at Marquette University, making him a third generation Winn dentist. In his final year of Dental School, the Faculty and Academy of General Dentistry acknowledged him with the Senior Dental Award for “Exhibiting the greatest interest, knowledge, and proficiency in the field of General Dentistry.”
Dr. Winn has completed dental mission trips to orphanages in Puebla and Oaxaca, Mexico. He is actively involved with the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA), including the Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile Day. At the local level he was delegated to the WDA Peer Review Panel to assure and improve oral health care in WI.
In his free time, Dr. Winn enjoys spending time with his wife, hunting, fishing, golfing, and supporting the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers. His wife, Erin, is a pediatric dentist at Smiles in Motion (www.sim4kids.com). The couple resides in Chippewa Falls with their daughters Emmy and Isla.
Dr. Annie McLaughlin
Dr. Annie McLaughlin joined Winn Family Dentistry in 2018 and became a partner in 2023. A Chippewa Falls native, she is a proud alumna of Halmstad Elementary, Chippewa Falls Middle School, and Chippewa Falls Senior High School.
Dr. McLaughlin earned her bachelor’s degree in genetics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Marquette University, where she graduated cum laude. She is proud to be a first-generation college graduate.
An active member of the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA), Dr. McLaughlin has participated in community outreach events such as Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile Day. Her favorite part of dentistry is building lasting relationships with patients, and she takes pride in listening carefully to questions and concerns to help patients feel comfortable and confident in their care.
Outside of the office, Dr. McLaughlin enjoys spending time with her husband, Shayne, and their son, Mac, while taking advantage of all the Chippewa Valley has to offer. She loves dreaming up future home projects, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and traveling whenever she can. Dr. McLaughlin resides in Chippewa Falls with her family and their two dogs, Luna and Rylie.
