Nestled within 16 acres of natural forest bordering the buffer zone of Kanha Tiger Reserve, this sanctuary offers a pristine retreat far from tourist hubs yet only 25 minutes from the Khatia gate entrance.
Our philosophy is rooted in conservation, community, and immersive wildlife experiences. The lodge features twelve luxury cottages inspired by traditional Gond tribal architecture, drawing on locally-available materials like stone, mud plaster, terracotta tiles, rough-hewn timber, and waste wood. Less than 5% of the forest is built upon — every lodge structure is low-impact, environmentally sensitive, and crafted to blend seamlessly with the surrounding forest.
Each cottage offers a spacious open veranda with sweeping forest views; interiors include en-suite bathrooms with double vanities, writing desks, day beds (which can serve as extra beds), air conditioning backed by 24-hour power supply, and organic teas and freshly ground coffee. The furnishings, finishes, and even toiletries (in glass jars) reflect our sustainable approach.
At Kanha Earth Lodge, every day opens with opportunity — whether it’s tracking the iconic tiger, spotting deer such as chital, sambar, gaur or barasingha, or wandering through lush meadows alive with over 350 species of birds.
