Shanna founded Chara Christian Dance Academy in 2008 with a passion to unite faith, character development, and high-quality dance instruction. A graduate of Texas A&M University, she earned a B.S. in Sport Management and completed minors in both Dance and Business. Her commitment to making the arts accessible led to the creation of the Part of the Art Foundation in 2017, which she co-founded with her husband, Bobby, Pastor of Friendswood Friends Church. The foundation provides dance scholarships to children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the joy of dance. Deeply rooted in her community, Shanna actively serves on the board of the Friendswood ISD Education Foundation and is also involved with Friends of Downtown Friendswood. Her leadership extends into the dance industry through her certification as a business and personal development coach with More Than Just Great Dancing!®—a national organization that empowers studio owners to build values-based, student-centered businesses. Through coaching and mentoring, she supports other leaders in creating meaningful impact in their communities. Shanna and Bobby are the proud parents of three children and are committed to living a life of service, faith, and creativity.
